Japanisches Führungszeugnis / Japanese Police Certificate

Personen, die für eine längere Zeit in Japan gelebt haben, können für bestimmte, offizielle Zwecke (z.B. Arbeit am Flughafen, Approbation als Arzt, Langzeitvisa für andere Länder, etc.) über das Japanische Generalkonsulat München ein japanisches Führungszeugnis beantragen. Das Führungszeugnis wird auf Japanisch, Englisch, Deutsch, Französisch und Spanisch ausgestellt.

Bei Bedarf kann dem Führungszeugnis eine Haager Apostille des japanischen Außenministeriums beigefügt werden. Bitte klären Sie vor dem Antrag mit der Stelle, die das Führungszeugnis fordert, ob eine Apostille benötigt wird oder nicht.

Da für den Antrag Fingerabdrücke genommen werden müssen, kann der Antrag nur durch den Antragsteller persönlich mit Termin bei uns im Konsulat erfolgen.

Notwendige Dokumente

- aktuell gültiger Reisepass
- Antragsformular x 3 (kann auch im Konsulat ausgefüllt werden)

Es fallen keine Gebühren an.
 

Bearbeitungsdauer

Die Bearbeitung nimmt zwei bis drei Monate in Anspruch, da der Antrag nach Japan weitergeleitet und das Führungszeugnis direkt von der japanischen Nationalen Polizeibehörde ausgestellt wird. Ein Expressverfahren gibt es nicht.
 

Abholung

Sobald das Führungszeugnis bei uns eintrifft, kontaktieren wir Sie. Das Führungszeugnis kann dann persönlich oder durch einen Stellvertreter mit schriftlicher Vollmacht im Konsulat abgeholt werden.

Wir können Ihnen das Führungszeugnis alternativ auch per Post zusenden. Dafür reichen Sie uns bitte einen adressierten und als Einschreiben frankierten Din A4-Umschlag ein. Dies geschieht auf eigenes Risiko! Das Konsulat übernimmt keine Haftung für verlorene, verspätete oder beschädigte Unterlagen.

Persons who have lived in Japan for a certain time can apply for a Japanese police certificate via the Japanese Consulate General in Munich, if the certificate is needed for specific official purposes (e.g. applying for a long-term visa for other countries, work permit for special workplaces, etc.). The police certificates are written in Japanese, English, French, German and Spanish.

If needed, an apostille of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs can be attached to the police certificate. Before you apply, please confirm with the authorities requesting your certificate if you need an apostille or not.

As we need to take fingerprints, the application can be done only in person and with an appointment at our consulate.

There is no application fee.

Duration

The process will take approximately two to three months, because the application is forwarded to Japan and the certificate will be issued directly by the Japanese National Police Agency. There is no express application.

Collection

As soon as we receive the police certificate, we will contact you. The criminal record can then be collected directly at our consulate by yourself or a proxy with a letter of authorization.

Alternatively, you can receive the certificate by post. To do so, you should provide an Din A4 envelope, addressed to yourself and stamped sufficiently to be sent as registered mail ("Einschreiben"). Posting happens at your own risk! Please note that the Consulate assumes no liability for any loss, delay or damage that occurs as a result of posting the certificate to you.
